How to Make Ninja Stress Balls

Looking for a fun, inexpensive, and playful way to relieve stress? These DIY Ninja Stress Balls are perfect! Made with just balloons and flour, they are simple to create and provide an excellent fidget tool for both kids and adults.

Follow this easy step-by-step guide to make your own ninja stress balls at home.

Materials Needed

  • 1 fold-over sandwich bag (or a Ziploc bag with the zipper cut off)
  • 3/4 to 1 cup of flour
  • 2 balloons (12-inch round)
  • A ballpoint pen (for drawing the ninja face)
  • A pair of scissors

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Flour Bag

Pour 3/4 to 1 cup of flour into the sandwich bag.

Shake the bag gently to ensure the flour settles at the bottom.

Remove excess air, pinch near the top, and tie a secure knot.

If tying a knot is difficult, use a twist tie or rubber band.

Trim off any excess plastic above the knot.

Step 2: Insert the Flour Bag into the First Balloon

Take the yellow balloon (or any desired base color) and cut off about half of the balloon’s neck.

Stretch the balloon open with your fingers.

Carefully insert the knotted flour bag into the balloon, making sure it fits snugly.

Step 3: Add the Outer Balloon Layer

Take the second balloon (which will act as the ninja mask) and cut off the neck, leaving a bit of a “turtleneck.”

Flatten the balloon and cut a small horizontal slit in the middle to create the ninja’s eye opening.

Stretch the balloon and carefully place it over the first balloon, making sure the slit aligns with the flour bag beneath.

Step 4: Draw the Ninja Face

Use a ballpoint pen (avoid markers as they may smear) to draw two small eyes within the slit opening.

Add angled eyebrows above the eyes to give your ninja a fierce expression.

Your Ninja Stress Ball is Ready!

Now you have a DIY Ninja Stress Ball that is fun to squeeze and play with. These stress balls make great gifts, party favors, or just a fun craft to enjoy. Try making different colors and expressions to create a whole ninja squad!

Bonus Tips:

If the stress ball feels too firm, adjust the amount of flour used.

Experiment with different facial expressions for variety.

Store the stress ball in a dry place to ensure longevity.

Enjoy your homemade ninja stress reliever! 🥋💨
