Battery Guns: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) may not allow you to carry a battery gun or a Nerf gun in your carry-on luggage. Still, you can take it along with you in your checked luggage, which will be kept away from you during your plane journey.

- TSA has allowed people to take Nerf guns in their checked-in bags with their other luggage.
- Any toy with the shape of a weapon or any firearm is not allowed neither in the carry-on luggage nor in the checked luggage.
- TSA has stated strictly that only normal toy guns are allowed in checked luggage. Any toy that resembles replica explosives or grenades can create a mess at the time of screening at the airport.
