How to Make a Bunny Paper Chain:
Step 1: Fold Your Paper Accordion-Style
Start by folding a strip of paper back and forth like an accordion. Each fold should be the same width — about 2 to 3 inches wide works great. The more folds, the longer your bunny chain will be!
Tip: You can use a full sheet of construction paper cut lengthwise to make longer chains.
Step 2: Draw Half a Bunny
On the top fold, draw half of a bunny along the folded edge. This should include half the body, one ear, and part of the head. The folded edge is where the bunnies will be joined together.
Make sure the bunny’s ear or side touches the folded edge so the chain stays connected when cut!
Step 3: Cut Out the Bunny Shape
With the paper still folded, carefully cut out your bunny shape along the lines you drew. Take your time with tricky spots like the ears.
Once you’ve finished cutting, unfold the paper to reveal your adorable chain of bunnies holding hands!
