We have all been there. You have spent hours shopping, baking, and wrapping. The gifts look beautiful… and then you realize you forgot to buy tags.
Instead of writing “To Mom” with a Sharpie directly on the wrapping paper, we have a better (and free!) solution.
We have created 4 Distinct Sets of Free Printable Christmas Tags. Whether you are giving a classy bottle of wine, a bag of homemade cookies, or a funny stocking stuffer, we have the perfect tag for you.
What’s Included in the Collection?
These tags are designed on A4 paper for easy at home printing. Here is a look at the four unique themes:
1. The “Mistle toes” Collection (For the Cozy Gift)
The Design: Cute wreaths featuring festive socks hanging on a line with the punny phrase: “For Your Mistle toes.”
Best Used For: These are absolutely perfect for gifting fuzzy socks, slippers, nail polish, or a pedicure kit. It turns a simple pair of socks into a thoughtful, witty gift.

2. “Sweet Christmas Wishes” (For the Baker)
The Design: A beautifully detailed, vintage style illustration of a gingerbread house covered in colorful candy, set against a rustic background.
Best Used For: Homemade treats! Tie these onto a tin of cookies, a loaf of gingerbread, or a bag of holiday candy. The “Sweet Christmas Wishes” text makes it the perfect accompaniment to sugar filled gifts.

3. The “Orna mints” Joke (For the Candy Lover)
The Design: Round tags featuring festive ornaments and a classic holiday dad joke: “What is a Christmas tree’s favorite candy? Orna mints!”
Best Used For: You guessed it Mints! Attach these to a pack of Tic Tacs, a tin of Altoids, a bag of peppermint bark, or a candy cane bouquet. It’s a great small gift for classmates or coworkers.

4. Merry & Bright (For the Elegant Gift)
The Design: These are for when you want to be fancy. Featuring a “foil effect” look in gold, silver, and rose gold against deep jewel tones (teal, burgundy, navy). They come in both rectangular and round shapes.
Best Used For: Wine bottles, candles, expensive chocolates, or gifts for the in-laws. These tags add an instant touch of sophistication to any package.

How to Get the Best Look
Paper Matters: For sturdy, professional looking tags, print these on White Cardstock rather than standard printer paper.
Cut & Punch: Cut out the shapes carefully. For the round tags, you can use scissors or a 2.5 inch circle punch if you have one! Punch a small hole at the top.
The Finishing Touch: Use baker’s twine, ribbon, or jute string to tie the tag onto your gift.
Holiday Tip: Print a few extra sheets of the “Merry & Bright” tags and keep them in your kitchen drawer. You never know when you’ll need a last minute tag for a neighbor or unexpected guest!
