Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Blades
Take both popsicle sticks and cut off a small portion of them using scissors. This is so that the blades of the Popsicle Stick Helicopter aren’t too long.
Step 2: Create the Rotor Blades
Take a popsicle stick and make a marking in the middle and separate a small part of it.
Cut a wooden straw according to the size of this cut part and divide the wooden straw into two parts.
Now stick the wooden straw in the opposite direction on the cut popsicle sticks as per the image given above. For this you can take the help of glue gun.
Now apply glue of glue gun on the piece of popsicle stick on which we have pasted the wooden straw and popsicle stick and stick the Popsicle Stick rotor blade on it as per the image given above and let it dry.
Step 3: Attach the Skewer or Straw
Now take a long wooden straw and stick it on the made popsicle stick rotor blade with the help of glue gun.
Step 4: Test and Fly!
Hold the bottom of the skewer and spin the blades between your fingers to create lift. Release the helicopter and watch it spin as it descends gently to the ground.
